Croogo
Croogo 1.4 released!
You guys wanted it, now you have it! Croogo v1.4 Beta is now officially released! This is a direct migration of Croogo 1.3.x from CakePHP 1.3.x to 2.0.x. The development of this release was single handedly maintained by the super awesome Rachman Chavik!

Message from the contributor himself
I asked Rachman if he would like to say something to the community about his experience with the migration process, and he was happy to do it:
Croogo 1.3.x is a great piece of software. The core codebase is small and very extensible. It's gets out of our way, and can be very easily bent to our will using its plugin architecture. This allows me to use Croogo as nearly all my projects 'boilerplate'. And with the upcoming 2.x version is in planning, lots of great ideas are being fleshed out in Croogo's Group. However, I cannot wait to use Cakephp 2.0 in my new projects, so I set out to do the monumental task of porting 1.3 to 2.0.
As it turns out, the job is pretty easy. Nothing to it. I managed to update Croogo to run on an existing database install within one day. And took only another day to get it to work as a fresh install. There were a few confusing and baffling moments, but the detailed migration guide and #cakephp in freenode helped a lot. The CakePHP core team did a great job to make the migration process as painless as possible.
So, please give it a spin.
And be happy.
Plans for 1.4.x
This release takes Croogo's development back to beta again. So there is likely to be some minor bugs those will get fixed as they are reported. There will also be some new features included in this release cycle to help the development process and also from user experience point of view. These will be discussed in details in the Google Group.
Enjoy!

Croogo 1.3.3 released!
After almost 7 months, closing 12 tickets (only!), and fixing a number of bugs, Croogo 1.3.3 is ready for consumption! This is the last of beta releases, so if you wish to see anything taken care of before it leaves beta, now is a great time to share your thoughts.

Recent plans
I haven't been able to dedicate much time to the project lately as I moved to another country and also (re)started college. I am getting back to it now slowly and hopefully I will have some restructuring of the official website of Croogo with API documentation, tutorials, screencasts, etc.
As always, if you feel you have any ideas to share for this project, feel free to contact me or post on Google Group.
Enjoy free and open source software!
